ABOUT ALBION FELLOWS BACON CENTER

For over 35 years, Albion Fellows Bacon Center has been strategically working toward preventing domestic and sexual violence in our community and offering services to empower victims. Their services assess barriers to safety and self-sufficiency as well as the emotional and psychological needs of victims. Their programs use the Trauma-Informed Care framework, focusing on the overall well-being of each individual.

Albion Fellows Bacon Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a United Way partner agency, and works closely with law enforcement and local prosecutors to provide assistance to those who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Albion’s services are free and confidential.

Amends Program – Abuse Counseling and Education Inc. (ACE)

To provide evidence based behavior awareness and modification classes and counseling towards problematic life patterns.

We help provide education and awareness to attendees of our classes towards problematic life patterns. We are certified by the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) as a Batterers Intervention Program and contracted through Kidstrak and Recovery Works. Anyone can attend one class for free to see the numerous life area’s our classes bring awareness to and we work with other area resources.

Holly’s House is a non-residential child and adult victim advocacy center serving individuals in southwest Indiana.  Holly’s House exists to empower victims of intimate crime and abuse by providing supportpromoting justice, and preventing violence.  The vision for Holly’s House is to be a local leader in preventing intimate crime and supporting victims and their families, while bringing awareness to the community. Individuals who have experienced child abuse, domestic violence, or sexual assault can contact Holly’s House to learn more about their services.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs-Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program

Our mission is to implement a comprehensive person-centered, recovery oriented assistance program for Veterans, their families and Caregivers and VHA employees who use or experience intimate partner violence.

Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program Coordinator can assist Veterans, their significant others, and VA employees using a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approach. This program can assist with education, counseling/intervention, safety planning, and referrals within the VA and other community agencies. This program can assist people who identified using or experiencing intimate partner violence and for those who identify having relationship conflict.
